Conservative Fund
The Conservative Fund is a low to medium risk orientated investment portfolio that invests in local and international prime quality fixed interest and interest bearing securities and listed equity securities.
The assets and securities purchased include government bonds, local authority bonds, corporate bonds, mortgage and bank issued debt instruments that are chosen on the basis of quality and market rated earning yields.
The objective of the Conservative Fund is to maintain the value of the funds invested in real terms against prevailing inflation over the short to medium term, and to achieve positive income returns on a tax paid basis.
Investors should note that there is risk that negative returns can be experienced in any of the DorchesterLife Investment Funds as the investment assets acquired for the Funds are linked to investment market price movements and currency fluctuations.
Further details relating to the fund options are contained in the relevant Investment Statement.
