Growth Fund
The Growth Fund is a medium to high-risk investment portfolio that is designed to produce optimised risk-adjusted returns from investment in capital growth assets over a long-term period.
The Fund invests in shares, property, and fixed interest securities (as in the Balanced Fund) but the investment strategy more aggressively favours the long-term capital growth sectors such as shares and property. These opportunities incur a higher risk factor relating to negative returns, but the strategy for this fund is to achieve higher total returns in the long term.
The objective for the Growth Fund is to achieve returns that accumulate to produce a desirable capital sum for the investor in the long term. Over shorter term periods the Fund's income and capital value may increase or decrease as investment markets fluctuate.
Investors should note that there is risk that negative returns can be experienced in any of the DorchesterLife Investment Funds as the investment assets acquired for the Funds are linked to investment market price movements and currency fluctuations.
Further details relating to the fund options are contained in the relevant Investment Statement.
